.22 RIM FIRE PISTOL
On Thursday nights, from 7pm to 10pm, the Pistol Team meets for practice at the Indoor Range. This is a semi-formal team meeting and anyone with a .22 pistol is welcome to come in and shoot with the “team”. If you have ever wondered about shooting matches then read on.

CONVENTIONAL PISTOL (BULLSEYE) shooting is done one handed. It consists of a slow fire portion, (10 rounds in 10 minutes); a timed fire portion, (10 rounds in two strings of 5 shots each, each string shot in 20 seconds); and a rapid fire portion, (10 rounds in two strings of 5 shots each, each string shot in 10 seconds). The firing is done at 50 ft using NRA standard targets.
The indoor range is restricted to .22 long rifle cartridges, .22 shorts, CBs and standard velocity rounds.
The Four Corners Rod and Gun Club Pistol Team participates in the Willamette Valley Pistol League where matches are held at various clubs from Eugene to Vancouver. These matches can be as few as 90 rounds or up to 270 rounds of fire. .22 pistol with any sight except laser sights or any sight that projects an image on the target itself. Prizes are awarded to the top three teams in scratch and handicap matches.
If you would like to try shooting as an organized sport or just want to fire your .22 pistols come out on Thursday night at 7pm and join the fun.

Add fun to your Center fire and Rim fire Pistol shooting with different targets at different distances.  Quarter size candy suckers at 10 yards, followed by small clay pigeons and tennis balls on a string at  25 yards and paper targets at 50 yards will test both your skill and the sights on your pistol at the Short Range.  Standard Silhouette shoots are held on the rifle Long Range for both Center fire and Rim fire events.  Defender Pistol tournaments are held monthly in both Center fire (Short Range) and Rim fire (Indoor Range) versions.  One of the favorite events is the .22 Golf Ball Shoot held on the Indoor Range.  It's much more fun to shoot a golf ball off a tee then to hit a paper target, although retrieving your 'kills' at the end of the round takes a bit more time!  Where are those hunting dogs when you need them?
